Ibex’s mCommunity provides both the ability to communicate and to form meaningful connections over a social platform designed, to provide people with an opportunity to connect with each other based on a common theme – communication becomes meaningful when there is something to talk about.

This is the central idea of mCommunity. It is a platform where subscribers connect with other members of the service based on a common subject matter. They can join in group discussions and make new friends; and for the first time ever, even post Voice updates on Facebook & Twitter!

mCommunity is not any social network’s mobile service, it is a social networking service designed for the mobile space.

Access to the service is through a short code available solely for the subscribers of MNO. As this is primarily a voice based service, it is accessible via any phone and for everyone, but with the increasing proliferation of Smartphones, Ibex has also developed a Smartphone mCommunity App especially for this service.

Unique subscriber ID offers privacy to the subscriber

This is a subscription based service & members get a unique ID when they register. This ID is the subscriber’s identity in the mCommunity forum. Just as in any social networking service, subscribers will be identified and engaged via this ID via voice or SMS
